Are we producing fruit?
Grafted In Means Bearing Fruit — or Being Cut Off
Key Scripture: Mattithyahu (Matthew) 7:19–20 (BYNV)
“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, by their fruits you shall know them.”
Truth to Grasp: Grafting Is Not About Being Accepted — It’s About Producing Fruit
So many want to claim they are “grafted in” because they believe in Yahusha — but belief alone is not fruit. Even the demons believe and tremble (Ya’aqob/James 2:19). Grafting means being joined to the tree of Yisra’el, yes — but more than that, it means you must now bear the fruit that Yahuah requires.
A branch that stays connected but produces nothing is still cut off.
Yahusha is not returning for people who merely “believe.”
He’s returning for those who walk in obedience and produce the fruit of righteousness.
What Kind of Fruit Should Grafted Branches Bear?
- Obedience to Torah
“And by this we know that we know Him: if we guard His commands.” – 1 John 2:3 (BYNV)
- Set-apart living
“Come out from among them and be separate…” – 2 Corinthians 6:17
- Guarding Yahuah’s Name and esteem
You were grafted into His people — you now bear His Name. Honor it.
- Spiritual fruit (Galatiyim 5:22–23)
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, belief, meekness, self-control
If your life shows no fruit, you are not part of the tree, no matter what you claim.
Supporting Scriptures
Yohanan (John) 15:2 (BYNV)
“Every branch in Me that bears no fruit, He takes away. And every one that bears fruit, He prunes, so that it bears more fruit.”
Even those grafted in must remain fruitful — or they’re removed.
Romiyim (Romans) 11:22 (BYNV)
“See then the kindness and sharpness of Alahim: on those who fell, sharpness; but toward you, kindness — if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off.”
Continuing in His kindness means staying fruitful and obedient.
Hebrew Word Study: Periy (פְּרִי) – Fruit
• Periy means: fruit, produce, reward, or outcome.
• In Hebrew understanding, fruit is the visible result of obedience.
• Yahuah is not looking for claims — He’s looking for evidence.
You are known by your periy — your fruit proves your root.
Grafted In Is a Lifestyle — Not a Title
Being grafted in isn’t just a status you claim — it’s a life you live:
• Living by the Torah
• Honoring the Sabbaths and Feasts
• Bearing the Name of Yahuah with reverence
• Following Yahusha’s way, not the world’s
If your life mirrors the nations, you’re not grafted in — you’re just taped on.
Affirmation for Today
“I was once wild and fruitless, but now I am grafted in to the tree of Yahuah. I will not just abide — I will bear fruit. Let my life prove I belong. I will remain in Yahusha and walk in obedience, that I may never be cut off.”
Prayer
Abba,
Thank You for the mercy that allowed me to be grafted into Your people. Let me not grow lazy, proud, or fruitless. Let my life be evidence of Your truth. I do not want to be a lifeless branch. Prune me where needed. Feed me by Your Word. Cause me to grow in fruitfulness, so I may bring esteem to Your Name in everything I do.
In Yahusha’s Name, Amein.
